Thanks for checking back in w/ me, it’s Clifton Henri, nationally recognized, award winning, fine art photographer here with Video 7 / Day 7 of my 10-Day Artist Talk Series about “The Wait We Carry”.

The day of the shoot was filled with nerves and anxiety. 

This was my first attempt at getting back into my practice, back to shooting, back to creating in a LONG time.

Feeling the pressure for this to be perfect, it often held me back from even starting so this day was massively important on so many levels.

When photographing kids you don’t have long.

You’ve got to be prepared technically

And you’ve got to be able to harness your subject's energy and get an authentic collaboration.
